As a purveyor of high quality digital art, it doesn't take much to get my attention but it does take a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get me to enjoy something.
Let's analyze all three:
1. Blood. This game obviously took a lot of work and you stayed up late working on it many nights (Scary how accurately I can assume that, right?) and that BLOOD has translated into excellent graphics and a well balanced game. I can see your bloodshot eyes in the middle of the night as you type with sore fingers to program your ten thousandth line of code.
2. SWEAT. I can only imagine how much sweat was pouring down your face and your lower back as you scanned through lines of code trying to add new features to this game but also keep it balanced and not break anything. The amount of testing you had to do is immeasurable (hopefully one day we can measure it).
3. Tears. Ah yes, the tears. The frustration of creating something and it not doing what you wanted and then briefly giving up. You begin wondering why you didn't choose a less ambitious project. You can't (and shouldn't) collect your own tears but you have metaphorically collected them and shown them to us in this game. This creation. This art.
After creating something like this you may have doubts. You may wonder what it's all for. People will tell you that you could have fathered a child, started a business, bought a house or had a positive influence on society. But, to them you can say.....I have done all those things. Here is my child that will carry my legacy long after I am gone. Here is the first of many games that I will sell to the consumers. And here is my home that I share with you and we can all gather in its warmth and drop eggs on each other. Here is the graph showing how much happier society became after the release of Egg Drop in August 2023. Here is the link to my game.
tl;dr Game fun and addicting and eggs go splat
