As a purveyor of high quality digital art, it doesn't take much to get my attention but it does take a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get me to enjoy something.
Let's analyze all three:
1. Blood. This game obviously took a lot of work and you stayed up late working on it many nights (Scary how accurately I can assume that, right?) and that BLOOD has translated into excellent graphics and a well balanced game. I can see your bloodshot eyes in the middle of the night as you type with sore fingers to program your ten thousandth line of code.
2. SWEAT. I can only imagine how much sweat was pouring down your face and your lower back as you scanned through lines of code trying to add new features to this game but also keep it balanced and not break anything. The amount of testing you had to do is immeasurable (hopefully one day we can measure it).
3. Tears. Ah yes, the tears. The frustration of creating something and it not doing what you wanted and then briefly giving up. You begin wondering why you didn't choose a less ambitious project. You can't (and shouldn't) collect your own tears but you have metaphorically collected them and shown them to us in this game. This creation. This art.
After creating something like this you may have doubts. You may wonder what it's all for. People will tell you that you could have fathered a child, started a business, bought a house or had a positive influence on society. But, to them you can say.....I have done all those things. Here is my child that will carry my legacy long after I am gone. Here is the first of many games that I will sell to the consumers. And here is my home that I share with you and we can all gather in its warmth and drop eggs on each other. Here is the graph showing how much happier society became after the release of Egg Drop in August 2023. Here is the link to my game.
tl;dr Game fun and addicting and eggs go splat
An honest assessment. God speed Andro!
First level is very difficult. Maybe you should move it to the later levels? First level took me about 15 minutes and second level took me 2 minutes.
Umm what am I trying to do in this game? Just avoid people as long as possible? Maybe a pushing/shoving button or a way to kill enemies or just move them around would be cool. Art style and music and pretty decent, keep at it.
There is something strangely satisfying about this because it's very similar to my first game I made back in 2003 but I'm still mad about it. Keep trying.
:( I tried
Interesting game. Starts off a little difficult and it could be a little more fun and less trollish. Have you by chance played the game Don't Look Back made by Terry Cavanagh?
i just did (great game btw) and because of this sheer coincidence i feel like i am going to be sued right now
That last level is really intense and fun. I thought it was just going to be the first couple ramps but then it kept going and going. I would add a few more longer and easier levels and maybe another version where you can jump. Overall a really fun basic game
thanks alot
yeah i made the last level the longest and hardest
i may make a cubethon 2 in a long future
and btw there is a button to jump
in the game there is a letter that apears frequently
and if you know the button to jump you can get to the easter egg level
thanks again
At first it seems like a badly programmed game but when the O starts moving it gets pretty fun.
